Irregular cycles, stubborn acne, unexplained hair changes, years of being told “it’s just stress.” For many women, this condition goes unnamed for far too long, and now even its name has changed. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has officially been renamed polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), a name that better reflects what’s really going on in the body: hormonal and metabolic effects that reach well beyond the ovaries.
In this workshop, we’ll break down what PMOS is, why the name changed, and how it’s diagnosed, including the signs to look for, the tests to ask about, and how to walk into an appointment prepared and confident. You’ll leave with clear language, a better understanding of your own body, and the knowledge to advocate for yourself.
