This Ramadan, EmpowHer Health is raising $80,000 to support the Mother Maryam Foundation, which has served the Zarwat community of rural Northern Sudan for more than 20 years.
Rooted in deep local relationships, the Foundation delivers essential public health services where few others can—vaccination campaigns, malaria prevention and treatment, women’s health services, and access to clean water.
At a time of profound instability in Sudan, Mother Maryam Foundation continues to operate with care and responsibility—directing resources toward proven, life-sustaining interventions that protect mothers and children.
Every dollar raised will directly support Mother Maryam Foundation’s work on the ground.

EmpowHer Health (EH) is a Texas nonprofit corporation and a charitable organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EIN: 93-2014626.
All donations made through this campaign are voluntary charitable contributions and are non-refundable. In accordance with IRS guidelines, EH maintains complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds.
Proceeds from the Ramadan Mercy: Health for Sudan campaign will be used to support the Mother Maryam Foundation’s public health initiatives in Northern Sudan, including but not limited to vaccination campaigns, malaria prevention and treatment, women’s health services, and access to clean water.
Funds will be distributed in alignment with EmpowHer Health’s charitable mission and oversight standards. In the event that campaign needs are fulfilled or circumstances require adjustments, EH reserves the right to allocate funds to substantially similar programs that advance health access for women and children in underserved communities.
